It was clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to dinner. Nice area
The atmosphere was very welcoming. The decor was tastefully done.
The check in was very easy and the owner explained everything about the property.
Clear communication with the owner. The property was spacious and clean. The location is walking distance to the ferry terminal and local restaurants. We asked for more and got them right away. There aren’t many TV stations as one reviewer observed. Although it was hot, we kept the windows open and used the fans. Overall, this place is just right.
It was horrible in every aspect; especially when the renter was accusatory in the morning regarding a few issues.
Our stay here albeit one day was totally enjoyable. The condo was super clean and well appointed. Great place for a short or long stay. Highly recommend.
The property is excellently situated for exploring both Halifax and Dartmouth. The manager was more than accomodating. It was most unfortunate there was no air conditioning as the weather was extreme. Other than that I feel there should be extra security measures for windows since they had to be open to keep things cool.
breakfast was decent. I pulled a muscle and had trouble walking and there was no elevator in the building. Sink was plugged and slowly drained. not many tv channel selections. would not stay here again. Other Days Inns are better.
Excellent Value! This delightful little property is convenient to the Alderney Ferry, only a few blocks walk away, which provides access to the Halifax waterfront, as well as a few blocks from a variety of eateries. The host is most gracious, met with me to conduct check-in, although various delays made my arrival quite late in the evening, as well as cheerfully arranging for another night's stay, when I extended my visit. The cleanliness of the well-appointed (downstairs front) apartment was simply immaculate, and although I did not have need to use the kitchenette facilities, it appeared very well stocked and equipped. Although not air-conditioned, there is a floorstand fan available which brought cool night air in from the window - and the neighborhood is quiet, so that no outside noise interfered with sleep (on a very comfortable bed). Parking in the rear of the building is a bit tight, but I was able to tuck my last-arriving conventionally-sized Camry into the back corner. Note that Hare Lane is one-way, and one needs to come in off Fairbanks in order to access the easier driveway entrance. All in all, a pleasant venue and excellent value for the money. When I return to Dartmouth-Halifax, it will be my first lodging choice.
