"Modern functional, but very comfortable hotel relatively close to Muscat Airport. The room was pleasant and quiet. Nice swimming pool. Breakfast buffet had everything that you would expect. We only stayed overnight because we wanted to be close to the airport for an early morning flight, so this hotel was ideal. Our taxi fare to the airport was 8 OMR and the journey took about 12 / 13 minutes. "

"Golden Tulip Muscat is situated very near two very nice malls and easy access to the highways. The onsite restaurant provides very good meals for reasonable prices. I didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked very good with plenty of options. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool and seating area with wonderful views of the ocean and surrounding city. The hum of the highway was somehow very soothing. Overall, we would recommend staying at the Golden Tulip Muscat."

"The personal behavior was excellent—very friendly and warm. I even arrived earlier than the check-in time, and they still checked me in. I checked in almost four hours before the normal time. family resort style place in a quiet part of the Muscat city beach zone. There are large hotel grounds with pools and a gym all lacking any type of useful directions. The hotel has placed a large surcharge on local taxi rides and there is no local bus service so transport around the city is expensive.
