Spent 4 nights at this little slice of heaven on earth. What a superb product from Jumeirah.
Warmth and calm are the main characteristics embodied by every aspect of the space, from the serene interiors to the the incredible staff that are the most hospitable I’ve ever encountered in any hotel, anywhere in the world. Cannot wait to return to this property which in my opinion, is THE must place to stay in Muscat.

Was a beautiful hotel with excellent service overall. Though the 2nd day the server at the restaurant kept asking us to be patient even though we waited 20 mins to get menus or acknowledged The rooms and property are beautiful but over priced. Food too was over priced and wasn’t great. For the price we paid meals should have been included and certainly should have tasted better. In addition.. our car broke down and they didn’t provide a free ride down the mountain. Again for the price we paid,...

Delightful place with amazing staff. Pristine beach and wonderful pool and spa. You feel the stresses of life disappear as soon as you walk through the door. But again the staff are what really made the difference nothing was too much trouble and my thanks to Cory, Kitty, Tum and Ali in particular.

The hotel is lovely, the staff are excellent and the breakfast was very good.
Muscat is very spread out and if you don't have a car it is taxis everywhere. I prefer being able to walk to restaurant/cafe options. We did walk out of the resort once or twice, and found/stumbled across a nice Indian restaurant nearby. Other local options were difficult to find without local knowledge and the hotel tends to advise well known restaurants in Muttrah or the Embassy area that anyone can find on...

Great rate on a very comfortable, beautiful, new room. Small issue at check-in that caused a delay, but very friendly and helpful customer service. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice roof top pool. Gym is very small if not to say tiny.
Rooms are of decent size but could be a tiny bit bigger. Bathroom very big with separate toilet (with closeable door) which is really nice.
Location of the property is bad unless you are on a business trip. there is nothing around and nothing within the hotel to do. When we stayed there a Mall in the same building was being furbished so maybe this changes in the future. As a tourist i would only recommend it as a transit hotel, e.g. when...

Don't expect luxury, but you are in a desert camp so if it is luxury you are looking for don't go to a desert camp. The place is fantastic, is hidden in the middle of the sand dunes. Staff is really kind and helpful. The food is nice and the overall atmosphere amazing. We stayed nights. The comfort and cleanness of the bathroom could be improved but when you are in the middle of nowhere and water is scarce you should also be flexible. The first night the drivers guiding a group put some music...

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Oman
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Oman is between May and July, when hotel prices are generally lower. To truly appreciate the country’s rich history, culture, and stunning natural landscapes, a stay of at least 3 days is recommended. This duration allows for exploration of important landmarks and cultural sites, making it a great value for money for those travelling on a budget. Visitors may find that prices could drop during this period, providing an even more budget-friendly experience.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals in Oman on Hotels.com, begin by browsing the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections, where you may find discounted rates for hotels as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications could help you stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss opportunities to save. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool within the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities effectively. If rooms become available or prices drop, you're more likely to be notified first, making it easier to secure a last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at an Omani hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you to secure the best deal.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Oman can undoubtedly provide a level of convenience and access to local attractions; however, it often comes with a steeper price tag. In contrast, smaller towns and rural areas are more likely to be affordable, offering budget-conscious travellers a chance to save on accommodation. For those seeking better rates, opting for hotels situated outside the city centre can be a wise choice, although this may necessitate a bit of extra travel to reach key sights. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities that are rich in culture and attractions can yield plenty of enjoyable experiences while still providing more budget-friendly options.
Best time to go to Oman
Oman has a varied climate due to its size, so the best time to visit depends on the region and your preferences for weather and crowds. If you’re looking to soak up the lively atmosphere in Oman, January, April, and December are the peak months to visit, bustling with fellow travelers. During this peak period, the weather is sunny, with no rainfall. However, if you prefer a more relaxed experience, May, June, and August are perfect for a quieter getaway, marked by no rainfall and sunny conditions.
