Loved our stay
The Inn and the innkeepers were lovely. The decor is quirky and elegant at the same time. Every convince is thought of. The fireplace in every room is a fabulous touch. We can’t wait to visit again soon

2/10 Poor

Absent owners, unstaffed on arrival. No breakfast at a B&B even if I paid the extra 20 a person. Outdated shabby room, bed and bedding were terrible.

6/10 Good

They did not have cable TV which was an extremely difficult and disappointing. The service provided was YouTube streaming and was therefor unable to get regular network TV. We don't stream so aren't familiar with it's use and don't have access to additional service on our own. first thing in the morning and last thing before bed it's enjoyable to watch some network TV. It may seem old fashion but that is our habit.

This is a charming house on lovely grounds in a picturesque New England town. The innkeepers are friendly and knowledgeable about local restaurants and sightseeing and the breakfast was wonderful.

Fantastic B and B. Historic Inn
It was an incredibly wonderful, special Inn. I was out of state and their assistance with directions spot on. The breakfast devine. The grounds beautiful. Pat the co owner is a gifted artist. Her studio beautiful. Came home with many goodies. You will not be disappointed with your stay.

2nd stay
Second stay at the Inn. Location is quiet and close to shops and restaurants. Requested ice and wine glasses upon our arrival and these were promptly provided. Our room, the King over the gardens was well-appointed and quiet.

Pat was very friendly and helpful. The building needs some attention on the outside. The grounds are very nice. The little dogs are cute but I don't like being barked at when I am a paying guest. The room was comfortable.

Gorgeous Connecticut spot
An absolutely beautiful home and grounds and very friendly owners! The place is filled with the owner's unique and stunning art, which really adds a great touch. I was really unhappy however to find that that mattresses are covered in must a very basic pure plastic sheeting - with nothing between the plastic and the bottom sheet, which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. I finally put a towel down to sleep on. I appreciate protecting the mattress, but then to have something more breathable on top of it would be good. I only ever find this at small motels, so wasn't expecting it here.

Great Anniversary Trip
I would recommend CRVI to anyone who appreciates a high-quality "in-town" Inn. Character abounds, they have added such interesting touches to what I'm sure was already an awesome place. Clean, quiet, comfortable and extremely interesting. You could not ask for a better location in up-scale Glastonbury, CT. Walk to 25 restaurants and coffee-houses. Right next to a terrific walking-biking path. FUN!!! Probably the best thing of all is Innkeepers Patricia and Wayne. Such nice, knowledgeable and helpful people and an awesome Inn, just a great value! We will be back asap. Jack and Diane, A Little Dide

Wonderful break from the normal hotels.
I was in town for business and had a great stay here. The house was built in 1740 and is in remarkable condition and appropriately modernized. All the rooms are wonderfully decorated and the hosts are very accommodating. The only slight weakness was the breakfast coffee. Fix that and they have a grand slam experience.

It was beautifully restored and decorated. Our room was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. I especially enjoyed the church chimes that were next door.
