Good, quiet location.
Good location, tiny room, not even a closet. Great shower. Quiet. Hotel bistro staff lacked people skills, coldly efficient, made us not want to eat there. Appreciated laundry and workout rooms. Maybe if we had a larger room it wouldn’t have seemed such a confined space. Spent as much time as we could away from the room/hotel. Front desk staff friendly. Not awful, but nothing to rate a future return except the location.

NOHGA HOTEL UENO TOKYO
Hotel is new & has comtemporary design. The room, bed & toilet facilites were wonderful. Staff was friendly & courteous. The only disappointing issue was the pillows were so flat even I triple stacked them, it was still not comfortable. Hope the hotel can improve on providing better quality of pillows to their guest in order to enjoy a great night rest. Still I love to revisit this hotel again but I will definietly bring my own pillow the next trip.

Chic hotel in Ueno
New and chic hotel. Room w good layout, separate bath, toilets and basin so that both of us can use facilities at the same time. Mattress is hard and comfortable. Walk around seven minutes to nearest JR station

Ok hotel with a good staff
The staff were the high point of this hotel, very helpful and accomodating. The rooms were ok, although the walls were looking a little warn and scuffed from the suitcases of less gentle guests. The mattresses are incredibly hard. Tip: the beds are less painful if you sleep on top of the duvet and use a bath towel as a blanket. There is something really odd about the reception floor. All the photos show a beautiful flowing staircase, but you discover at the hotel that this opens not into the reception, but into the bistro. In fact practically the whole of the ground floor is bistro; there is practically no reception and no lounge area for sitting and enjoying a browse of the internet or for taking a coffee, there is nothing but bistro. It is like there was room allocated on the original design for part of the ground floor to be a reception area, but this has since been take over by the bistro and now the stair case seems kinda out of place and the hotel lobby is unbalanced and uncomfortable. There should be a proper, comfortable, relaxed, spacious, accommodating lobby area - its what hotel guests see and interact with first and it doesn't make a good impression as it is.

Sleek modern hotel
An absolutely beautiful modern hotel at a great location, 3 min walk from Ueno station (that connects to so many different lines). We booked a room with a double bed but it turned out to be king sized. The room itself is very spacious for Japan and has the nicest shower I've seen with a waterfall shower head. The room is romantic and modern with great mood lighting. It came with amenities such as toothbrush/paste, shaver, brush, q-tip and cotton pads, hair ties, and dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. They also provided two water bottles, slippers, and new robes every day. I didn't get to try any of their food or facilities. Will definitely stay here again if I come back for another vacation! Thank you.

Modern hotel in a quiet area
Beautiful new modern hotel in a quiet part of Tokyo. One of the features we really appreciated was the explicit instructions they provided for walking from the train and metro station. Very helpful given the size of Tokyo stations and multiple exits. The hotel is very nicely appointed. There are good bikes to rent available. There is also a helpful booklet with local restaurants, shops, and sights.

Room was in good condition, clean and comfortable. Just right. Having body lotion would have helped.

Great Tokyo location
Very modern, stylish hotel. Quiet street, but close to the action. Mattress was very hard - like sleeping on a wood floor. Other than that, great experience. Desk staff has good English.
