Cleanliness and friendly staff
Very convenient location steps from a subway station. The room is very small as is the standard of APA hotels but with a good supply of tooth brush, hair brush, razor and more for people who travel light.
The hotel’s location is as convenient as it gets- footsteps away from an entrance gate to Asakusa station, and next to a tax-free Family Mart. As a traveling couple, we booked the room with a full sized bed for 7 days. For American travelers, your immediate impression will definitely be the compacted room; it is the smallest room we’ve ever stayed in, but every inch of the room is utilized efficiently, from the multiple power outlets within the bed’s reach to the ergonomic shower. Ironically, we had one of the biggest TVs in any hotel room we’ve stayed in. All of the channels are Japanese with no English subtitles available, but our TV came with smartphone screen-mirroring so we were able to watch streaming apps such as YouTube (but not Netflix, oddly) which was useful. Disclaimer: this hotel states they only clean the room every 4 days for cost-efficiency, which other reviewers have confirmed, so we were surprised when they cleaned our room every day during our stay. I didn’t ask about it, nor were we charged extra for it, but I’m assuming it has to do with the winter/flu season and the current coronavirus scare. Hotel services have also made our trip easier- while we were on our 5-day stretch of Kyoto, the hotel was able to store our large luggage for the entire 5 days until we return for our last 2 nights in Tokyo, which prevented the ordeal of trying to move it to Kyoto. It was important to choose a good hotel to stay in for 7 days straight, and we chose the right one.
Close walk from the Asakusa Station! Very friendly staff and super easy check-in and check-out process. You can store luggage under your bed.
Check in time was 4pm and not allowed for early check in. However, you can leave your luggage there which is a plus point. Check out by just dropping in your cards. Overall, good and near to train station. Next to Family Mart.
Reallly Convenient, close to the convenient store and subways entry. Walking Distance from Senso-Ji. Staff are really friendly and has good communication skill.
