No lobby and the common area was worn / tired looking.

8/10 Very good

The room was nice and reasonably clean. The property was in the middle of being renovated and that's good, because it looked like it hadn't been since the 70's!! Location was close to town and area attractions.

2/10 Poor

The building was totally unsafe! Part of the building collapsed where the lobby used to be. The hallway was so filthy and smelled like puke! You could hear slamming of the door a 12 midnight to 3am. Its soo loud! Tge bathroom door woukd even close. We left after a few hours and they said there is NO refund. Terrible place!

For an older building, the rooms are kept up very nicely. The grounds could use the same sort of attention.

The staff was very welcoming & the room was certainly adequate for the rate, but the hotel itself is majorly lacking curb appeal. The roof that was once covering the convention area appeared to be caving in & the "grass" was all weeds. I actually had second thoughts about staying at this hotel based on the approach and appearance.l

Close to grocery and hardware store. Fairly quiet location. Spacious and comfortable room. Smoke alarm covered over in room. Long wait for hot water. Exterior entrance door doesn’t lock.

The property was in severe disrepair. The main building roof caved in and had no check in area except a converted room. The converted room and hall was a disaster area. No breakfast and little communication about anything. The doors at the end of the hallway were non existent leading to safety concerns. The parking areas were tore up and in severe disrepair. The room itself was good clean and things worked well. Expedia should refund my funds for misrepresenting this dump in the photos

We checked in late. The night clerk could not tell us how to reach him by telephone. When we dialed operator from the room, it rang and rang and no one answered. He then gave us what he thought was the right number, from a business card in the lobby, but that also did not ring locally. So if we ever needed him, we would need to walk down the two long hallways to the makeshift office to speak to him in person. Most of the outside exterior doors were not locked, one exterior door latch had even been sawzalled off to render it unlockable.

Rooms were clean. Worked for us this trip. Outside of hotel is not the greatest. Looks run down. If you can get past that, stay was fine.

Run down and dirty....
We had a late check in but the person working the "front desk" was nice and the interaction was quick. The building and parking lot were in total disrepair. It was difficult locating the proper entrance and not damage the car in one of the many potholes. The cleaning staff had left an envelope in the room for tips stating that they do their best to maintain cleanliness. All well received until I went to take a bath. Not only did I have to rince out hair and dirt from the bottom of the tub and walls of the shower but the bathroom floor was black with dirt as well. The bed was made to look as if sheets were changed but there was crumbs and hair in the bed as well. We slept on top of the bedding and used the extra cloths we brought for blankets because sleeping on the floor was out of the question.

expedia/travelocity is a scam I tried to get a hold of you to cancel when we arrived at our hotel roof collapsed by lobby a mess did not want to stay you would not respond to our calls or recognize my intinerary code. Very unhappy with your service. Plus the rate for a room due to their mess was only $50 you charged us $94??? I feel we should be reimbursed due to conditions here

The Econolodge was connected to a Clarion. The main check in building looked like it had had a fire. However, the gentleman who checked me in was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable.

The main lobby had caved in during the past winter which made the place look extremely sketchy when you drive up. That obviously wasn’t posted on the booking page. There was also a musty carpet smell in the hallway. The front desk person was helpful to us when we modified our reservation. The room was fairly clean.

Room had not been updated in a very long time. Second floor has a lingering unpleasant odor. King size beds had undersized blankets. Staff was very nice.
