good HOTEL
一泊だけさせていただいてゴールの中心地から少し離れている場所でしたが、ローカルバスを利用したら1人14ルピーで行ける場所だったので宿泊代も安くてコスパは最高でした！ゴールはやはり観光地で外食代もやや高めですがここのホテルのレストランは中心地から離れているからか、少し安く地元民の方もお持ち帰りで沢山の人が来てる印象で料理はなかなか美味しかったです。またゴールに行く事があれば泊まらせて頂きます。

Habe im Zimmer im Erdgeschoss übernachtet. Das Zimmer roch nach Schimmel, der Geruch kam vermutlich aus dem Bad. Aber auch an den Wänden im Zimmer befanden sich dunkle Flecken. Ein anderes ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss befindliches Zimmer wurde mir zwar angeboten, es befand sich aber im gleichen Geruchszustand. Die gleichfalls angebotene Übernachtung im möglicherweise schimmelfreien Schlafsaal war für mich keine Option. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer Gegend, in der abends nichts los ist. Abends grundsätzlich dunkle Gegend. Sorgt für etwas Unbehagen, wenn man zu Fuß unterwegs ist. Die Inhaber sind ausnahmslos nett und hilfsbereit. Die beiden Zimmer im Erdgeschoss sollten den Gästen aber bis auf Weiteres nicht mehr angeboten werden. Das WLAN wird nur sehr eingeschränkt zur Verfügung gestellt. Ich konnte nur über einen Internetbrowser ins Internet. Handy-Apps mir Internetnutzung haben gar nicht funktioniert.

It was a great stay. The owners were very friendly and guided me to visit the best places in Galle. He also helped plan my trip in Sri-Lanka as i went with a clean slate and an open itinerary. The room was clean, spacious and had a good view. It is also very close to the station & Fort. Overall a good place, good host and good location

Kind, helpful host
When I arrived at Reliqua I had just broken my ankle but hadn’t realised, the host (so might write his name incorrectly) Carlisle, was amazing. We were ok the first floor but after realising the pain I was in they made a room up for in the ground floor, him and his partner were attentive, kind and helpful. The place itself is in need of a little tidy up, specifically the bathrooms, but for the amount you pay and warm welcome, information and kindness during your stay it outweighs by far any niggles. The surrounding area itself is quiet, but head to the main road which is right from Reliqua and then left again when you reach the bottom and you’ll find some absolutely beach gems.
