Great spot for a kidless vacation

We had a great vacation here. The service was amazing and the resort was super clean. The food was decent and little bit above average for a typical all inclusive resort. We would 100% stay here again.

Excellent visit in late January

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and the service was great. Food was good. Drinks too! I am never happy that by the time you get to the pool at 9am - 85% of the chairs have towels laying on them. But, that seems to be everywhere... We also visited the 2 sister properties next door. The Palace seemed to be the quietest property -even though there were some children at the property. But - it was the end of January and most kids are in school....

Not the best hotel.

A menos de que se vayan solo a empedar no recomendamos el hotel. Mucho ruido por las noches, bebidas alcohólicas con sabor raro, el colchón súper aguado y solo tendían la cama pero lo demás lo dejaban sin más limpieza. La comida bastante grasosa. Actitud de servicio de la mayoría del staff bastante deficiente. La playa que tiene al frente bastante linda.

Ok stay

They put me in the basement near the service staff room. There was noise all day and all night. There is no elevator and I had to go up and down stairs all day. The food was ok, edible at best. Service is always excellent.

Not worth it…

Would not stay here again. Overall the hotel was not a match for what we were looking for which was a laid back quiet vacation. Most rooms wrap around a large main stage that each night hosts some type of music (e.g Banda, Queen Tribute, Journey, DJ) event for guests until the early hours of the morning. Then the cleaning staff starts their shift around 6:30am and they were loudly singing in the hallways that echo. The building is made of cinder block so you can hear everything. It is convenient to have food included but we got food poisoning our second to last day. Pools were nice and for the most part pretty quiet but if you’re not up by 8 or 9 you’ll have trouble finding a seat. Amazingly, they only had dos XXs and coors light. We were disappointed that in Mexico there weren’t more options for Mexican beer. They are clearly catering to a specific audience. It was nice that it was adult only. I think the general vibe of this hotel line is a little too party during spring break. Would have been fun back when we were in our 20s with a group of friends.

What a fantastic resort and location. Everything was top notch! We stayed over Christmas and they had fantastic events to celebrate! We would definitely recommend this hotel, that says aloof as we travel allot! Thanks

My wife and I looked at plenty of reviews online in efforts to select a good resort at a budget friendly price for a quick spontaneous getaway. The RIU Baja (adults only) did not disappoint. The hotel itself feels modern even though the hallways to the rooms are very plain and could definetly use some decor. However, the rooms are very spacious, comfy, and modern. The hotel is not huge but everything is well organized and you never feel crowded.We never had issues finding loungers at the pool area, chairs at the restaurants, or seating at the main outdoor theatre area. The food was excellent at some restaurants (agave) and okay at a few others (the asian spot). The staff here is very attentive and always there to answer any questions. You also get access to the other 2 RIU properties which are connected via a walkway. These properties have some very cool RIU pool parties that you must check out. Overall the experince was fun, relaxing and well worth the money

We had a great time on our honeymoon at the Riu. We enjoyed the different restaurants and the breakfast buffet. Our favorite was the Asian inspired restaurant. The pad Thai and the wings were amazing. The breakfast buffet had so many great selections. We definitely enjoyed our time in the pools especially at the two with swim up bars. We also enjoyed the beach access. Nothing beats relaxing in the sand by the water. Highly recommend if you’re a couple looking for a nice all inclusive adults only hotel out in Cabo
