This was a great room in a quirky little set up. Sonder has rooms in part of the building, and there are apartments in the rest. The room was huge and had a full kitchen, sofa and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very large. Could stay for an extended stay and would have been very comfortable.

Good experience. The apartment is in a great location across from Time Out Market, near Fenway Park. The apartment is spacious, but wish it had a king bed. Note that this is NOT a full-service hotel (no traditional lobby and you share common space with full-time residents).

The Sonder is associated with the Marriott but definitely not up to their standards. The check-in was in an unused unit and a very unwelcoming and clunky process. The unit and location were very nice and as described. Cleaning could have been better.

The Pierce was awesome! Beautiful views from the room, great location to go see a Sox game, super clean and great staff!!! I can’t say enough good things about it, if I go back to Boston, this is where I’m staying no question.

Great stay with all of the amenities of home

Overall wonderful stay. Beautiful property, very clean, great location walking distance to bars, restaurants, groceries, Fenway, lovely parks, and a ~20 minute walk to the convention center. Loved having a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. Will definitely stay again when we're back in Boston.

Great hotel at a great location! The studio we stayed in for a week surely felt like home — spacious room, full kitchen, in-room washer and dryer, great view. Walking distance to Fenway Park, close to Target and a supermarket (Star Market), lots of restaurants and cafés nearby! We also loved the Mezzo Lounge on the 18th floor! I highly recommend this place to those who like safety, convenience and comfort! Thank you, Sonder!

Don’t pass this one up!

We had a great experience here! It’s so close to Fenway, great restaurants, Target, and even a grocery store. We utilized the kitchen and cooked our breakfasts almost every morning. We also used the washer and dryer which was so cool they even provided laundry pods for us. The place was big enough for the 2 of us and very comfortable. We had no issues with connecting to the TV or with any communication. I even requested trash bags through the app and we received them very quickly. We would 100% stay here again and we have already recommended it to our friends and family.

Everything was great except that the person at the desk while checking in was not too friendly. I'll definitely check on this unit the next time I travel to Boston. Obviously, there was more than enough room, as it was just me staying in a 3 bedroom unit. If there is a unit smaller, I would be agreeable to staying there as well.

There was a buzzing noise that started in the middle if the night from the refrigerator that was quite loud in my suite. Also , a little difficult to stash your luggage behind thr desk for out of town guests.

I thought that the location was amazing. If you’re doing anything at Fenway Park or House of blues you really can’t get a better spot it’s right on the main drive but the 11th floor so it’s very quiet I didn’t even hear a peep honestly all night… It just didn’t have that hotel cozy feel I guess but it is apartment hotel so I think it’s perfect for folks who are traveling for work for long period of time or traveling for a few nights with kids because the full kitchen would’ve been cool if we needed it. we were just there for a concert, so I honestly would’ve rather have got “the hotel date night” experience (room service, bell hop, pool, amenities) but nothing bad. I just wouldn’t recommend it for a getaway from the kids for the night. HaHa!

Our 2 bedroom apartment had an excellent view and was clean and spacious, shower had great water pressure. Overall having an apartment for our family for the weekend was awesome. Nearby there is a food hall (Time Out Market), Star Market grocery, Target, Tatte bakery (and several other coffee shops and restaurants). The location is awesome. Negatives: Parking was a huge hassle and I would try to avoid having a car if you're staying here (do not use spot hero, just park in the lot where the Chipotle is a half block away, it's actually cheaper than what SpotHero quoted us for something further away that was uncovered). I can only imagine what a nightmare finding parking would be if there's a Red Sox game. The unit had a stale smell which 2 of the 4 of us were bothered by, the sheets were very plasticized, windows did not block the street noise, and check-in was stressful because they didn't send clear instructions and I couldn't find my confirmation email from months prior when I reserved and there is literally no bay to even temporarily park a car while you check in on the 11th floor and if you call them the person who answers is not in the U.S. and does not have a clue. This property is great for families, but do not bring a car.

Overall our stay was nice and the location was great since we went to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park, which was a short walk. Some small things that would have made it even better were: -- Signage - nothing says Sonder outside the building, then when we asked about Pierce (which is a very small sign near the door) we were told there were two of them. We eventually found the right one, but were double parked during this time which only made it more stressful. -- Parking - since parking is not included or readily available, we asked the girl at the desk about it. She only suggested parking on the street(?), which was very limited, and that there were some parking garages nearby. She didnt know anything about what is charged for overnight stays. We had to ask the Triangle parking person for this info.

Great location

I'm glad I chose to stay at Sonder at Pierce Boston. It is near the MBTA's Fenway station on the green line so you can get around. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area and it was a pleasant walk to the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. I like the apartment amenities of a kitchen and washer/dryer. In the unit I was in, the washer/dryer was one machine that served both functions, as seen more commonly in Europe. It would have been nice to have a brief set of instructions on operating the various knobs and settings. I didn't use it, for fear that I wouldn't be able to figure out the dryer function and would be left with wet clothes. When I arrived, I saw a coffee maker and tea bags on the kitchen counter but no mugs. I found them in the dishwasher which apparently had been run but not emptied. I wasn't able to get the bedside lights to work, despite trying the switches alone and in combination with various wall outlets. I didn't contact the front desk to report the issue or learn the secret but instead worked under the other lighting options. Other than those minor issues, I enjoyed my stay at Sonder at Pierce Boston and would stay there again if I ever make it back to Boston.

The to avoid!

The hotel is a group of three stories in Pierce Boston - a high-end condo building. The staff of the building were all friendly and extremely helpful. The washing machine and dryer worked really well. However, that's the end of the bright side of this review. -I arrived at 14:00 just to put my luggage as check-in starts only at 16:00 (which is late compared to other places - asking for an earlier time will cost you at least 20$) - office was closed despite that their building guide, says the office is open from 10:00-18:00. - Had to wait and postpone my 1st meeting until the office person arrived at 15:15. - While talking to this person, I learned she locks the office at 17:30 and not at 18:00 as promised, thus shortening the time luggage can be stored after checkout - The air conditioning in the room was very noisy. I altered the office qt 16:10 (ten minutes after getting to the room). However, at this hour, they could not do anything. - They also didn't fix it the next day. - In the bathroom, I found pubic hair on the toilet seat, and one towel had a nasty yellow stain.

Well-located and comfortable apartment

Well-located apartment, comfrtable and reasonably well-equipped for our 4 night Boston stay. Supermarket round the corner, restaurants, bars and wine shop very near. T stop Fenway 5 mins. Only has blinds so bring a facemask for sleeping. Surprisingly quiet. Take a cab to and from airport unless no luggage.
