Good value
We only stayed here for 1 night, lovely little place although basic the price was reasonable, it has everything you need, was clean & tidy if somewhat a little tired. There was evidence of rising damp but I’m not buying the property so it didn’t bother me. The bed was fairly comfortable although the pillows were hard but there were 2 to choose from. The tea & coffee provided was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute room for a quick stopover
Perfect for a quick stop over. The room does not have a fridge and is quite small with low door and ceilings, but this wasn't a problem for us.

This property worked perfectly for my short term need.
In fact it worked well enough that I looked no further than another one of the landlords rooms nearby when I had to extend my stay.

Thank you
I really enjoyed my stay, the room was very clean and comfortable. So much better than most of the over priced hotels in Worthing Seafront.
Looking forward to my next stay.

The property itself was very cute and great for a little get away. Unfortunately the property stunk of mould and damp which made the stay rather uncomfortable being severely asthmatic. The bed covers felt a little damp which i can only assume this being from the room being so damp. On a plus note it was tidy and clean and the beds were comfortable.

The room (room 2) did smell of damp and there is a damp patch between the bathroom and front door which is why I've given it an average rating. This may have been recent damage as there were no signs of mould but perhaps notification of the issue would have been welcome rather than ignoring it. The trim was missing off the bottom of the shower tray which just made it look unloved.
Other than that I loved the quirkiness of the room which was clearly quite old.
Parked right outside the window off road which was handy.

Not one of the best
Room relatively small to much furniture about the room, bathroom couldn't swing a cat around, and not cleaned sufficiently ! Parking was ridiculous had to leave car elsewhere in the village. Sorry not for us !

Excellent value for money!
What a cute room, everything you could possibly need.
Brilliant shower.
Being winter and almost -12 degrees outside, we found the room very cold on arrival. It would be great if the room could be warm on arrival, but 100% understand fuel costs are expensive and this option may not be viable.
Sadly the tv remote batteries were flat which made navigating the TV a bit difficult. There was also no Tea bags in the room (only coffee).
Other than that, we loved our stay!! It was inexpensive, but comfortable and we will use Findon Rest again.
Thank you to the proprietors and to the kind lady who cleaned the room.

Ok for the price, good location
The location was great and owners very friendly and accommodating. We were there for a wedding and able to check in early which was great. Our room (#3) was very small, with a very low door as you step up into the bathroom. Not great for my 6ft 5 fiancé. The bed was comfortable with lovely pillows, but there was lots of exposed wires and extension leads, the bathroom had nice fittings but there were lots of holes in the walls and areas that hadn’t been repaired. Our friend was in room #4 which was much larger, all nicely finished and clean and tidy. Perhaps they hadn’t quite finished 3? Not sure. Either way, overall it was comfortable enough for one night and in a good location.

Unable to resolve issues!
Nice place generally good but let itself down by - not being able to contact owner to rectify issues (contact numbers in welcome book incorrect) - No WiFi / Unable to use TV / No flooring in bathroom due to old leak around shower tray / Payment taken on booking credit card early without notification. Shame as this is a basic but nice place to stay!
