This place was absolutely amazing!!! Had THEE best stay. What a fabulous location with spectacular views of a castle, excellent customer service, welcoming accommodations and great food. We had the pleasure of having Glenn as our bartender one night. This guy was a fireball of energy, humor and a wizard with making drinks.

The Kilkea Castle was a dream start to finish. The staff was wonderful, the grounds are amazing and would absolutely stay again and recommend to friends.

The grounds are lovely and kept very well. The staff were all very kind. The main downside was the position of our room, 227. It is right on one of the roads that cars frequently pass so it can be very loud in there. There are 3 sets of windows in the master bedroom and the blinds don't do a job of keeping light out, the one facing the golf course can even not block line of sight to the room fully. So as soon as the sun is up the room is flooded with light making it hard to sleep into the morning at this time of year.

Gorgeous castle. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious carriage room. We had a lovely evening meal in Hermione's restaurant at the clubhouse followed by drinks in the Keep bar. Breakfast the next morning was so nice. Lots to do and see. We couldn't fault it.

We came to Kilkea to celebrate our anniversary and could not have been more pleased! From the moment we walked through the castle doors, the staff was gracious and friendly. Everyone remembered our names…so it certainly had a Cheers from Boston vibe! From the front desk, the spa, the dining, the historical grounds, and bartenders at The Keep, what more could we have asked for. We can’t wait to be back!

Amazing hotel, beautiful castle and grounds. Carriage rooms are spacious and decorated beautifully. You can hear everything from next room though. All the staff were so helpful and nice. Food at the golf club and at hotel breakfast was absolutely divine. Super tasty! Breakfast also had freshly squeezed orange juice. Definitely will be back someday to try the afternoon tea.

Come on, it was stay in a castle! Loved it. Though I arrived late, I loved grabbing a drink and hanging out by the fire in the reception area and walking the grounds at night. An amazing castle full of history. The food was splendid and the atmosphere was amazing. Mine and my wife's 20th anniversary and definitely don't regret staying here.
