Suited a one night stay for a concert. Buffet breakfast available and beds were comfortable.

This is a great place to stay in Dublin. Close to bus stops that will get you into the city centre. Nice and class to the airport.

DCU rooms are pretty good, they are Dorm rooms so some limited on facilities, but for a nice quiet room with a comfortable bed and a bathroom it’s very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good budget option close to the city centre. Very neat, clean rooms with all the basics covered. Accommodation was set in a very modern building in pleasant open countryside

Having been priced out of Dublin city centre hotels, I decided to give DCU Rooms a try. And what a find! Spacious rooms, quiet location, comfy beds and great transport links. Glasnevin also has great places to explore especially the botanical gardens and national cemetery. Highly recommemd

The room was poor quality and no hot water and the staff didn’t care

I really wouldn’t recommend staying here. Beds are uncomfortable and the housing is awkward. A private room but shared common area with another person in their private room. Can hear the other private room going to the bathroom. It’s not worth the price. It’s far from everything. Book a real hotel.

Small and old bathroom. Shouldn't have expected more.

Economical, staff not giving clear directions to room. Map helped but doors out of lift need to be labelled

The elevator was not working, the tv was not working.
You cannot use the spad or other facilities from the campus
Generally the hotel's prices are very high in Dublin. I was shocked how small are the rooms and overpriced

Overall our stay was totally fine for the most part, however we tried to check in 3 times and everytime we asked staff dismissed us and started speaking to each other. We waited for around 45 minutes after check in time and we were still being ignored by staff. After a changeover of staff we asked again and we were checked in within 5 minutes of speaking to another member of staff. Staff were asked to help us but just blatantly ignored us to talk to each other. The room was clean and we had no issue, however we feel that the staff should be more accommodating as even the manager ignored us when we were waiting for the 45 minutes to check in.

Unfortunately, our room was totally disgusting. Water damage and mold around the bathroom sink and even worse on the shower soap dispenser, walls, and ceiling. Floor tiles were cracked and cut your feet if you didn’t step over them. The shower drain backed up really badly and barfed gross black chunks back into the shower pan. It appears the newer shower pan was installed on top of the old? Incredibly shoddy.
Side table lights had burnt out bulbs, windows were stuck closed.
We’ve stayed in student accommodation all over the world, including in other dormitories in Dublin. We weren’t looking for a 5 star hotel; but for the high price being paid, a clean room in good repair is expected.

The actual accommodation was perfect for my friend and I! Nothing to complain about there. However the only thing that’s worth mentioning was the staff in the students union bar and restaurant. We were asked for ID before being able to buy drinks at the bar which was absolutely fine, although one of the workers proceeded to tell us they weren’t right and that our drivers licenses should have a Union Jack on them since we are from Northern Ireland. Quite taken back by this to be honest but we let it slide and proved it was us on our id’s by showing our Facebook profiles. Another worker made our drinks but got the order wrong so when I kindly corrected him he did not seem happy and started shaking his head. Didn’t feel welcome in the bar so we went back up to our room. Despite that we had a really nice stay at DCU accommodation.
