Confirm rooms better
The website did not confirmed that I was staying in a twin room. I wanted a double room. I was told I made a special request for a twin room when I didn’t any request for a twin room.

Tony visit
Close to NCH where Gloaming concert was on. Very helpful with early check-in no problem. Super breakfast and nice bar food the night before.

Very Good 8.0
Lovely new hotel in walking distance of the main shopping area and tourist spots in Dublin. I was attending a party so only got to taste the party food but it was very nice. Staff were friendly too and helpful. Nice room and good size.

Location/breakfast great. Reception staff/room not
Location and breakfast great. Reception staff and room disappointing. Overall, glad we stayed here. Location and breakfast being the pulling point. Ten minute walk to Grafton street, so central. Breakfast really good but didn't realize one had to pay extra for 'Eggs Benedict/Florentine'. However, the attentive newly appointed waitress organized two fresh poached eggs for us. Another bonus is freshly made coffee i.e. Americano/latte at no extra cost. However, the reception staff were not welcoming, when I mentioned we were celebrating a special event they were clearly not interested and did not engage. What was most telling is that same reception staff did not even ask us 'How was your stay?' when we checked out and left our room cards, there was barely a response and zero eye contact. Is this because we paid in advance, surely not? That simple non engagement really let the image of the hotel down in our view. Our room; nice but no atmosphere, also it smelled of smoke, we weren't sure it did until later that evening and didn't want the hassle of changing room at that late stage. Shower was fab when you worked out how to use it. Sometimes tepid in temperature. So, disappointing in reception manner and room but excellent in breakfast staff, breakfast and location.
