タメル地区にカトマンズエコホテルというホテルがあり、間違えて一度そちらに行ってしまったのですが、エコホームカトマンズからのメッセージで間違いに気付けました。

Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. However, it’s much more remote than it appears due to road conditions and there’s not much at all around it. Rooms are clean but shabby. I try to stay positive but it was just too much to put up with after a night.

Good hotel, not so good location.
The hotel itself is fine, except for the lack of reliable hot water (during warm weather that is not too much of an issue). However, the location is out of the way, and so it is quite a trek on narrow, windy roads to get there. Usual confusion with language at times.

xcellent service and a quiet area.
An excellent place to stay. We are new to Kathmandu and certainly liked the hotel pick-up at airport. We also used their driver to take us into the city the next day. And the same driver took us to Bandipur by car. No hassle with tourbus and straight from the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, good bedding and comfortable chairs. WiFi signal was good outside the room. Served food was very nice. The area is quiet and leaning against the hills, outside Kathmandu City. Clean air. Very good service from the staff and owner.

カトマンズ中心部から少し離れた北部の地域にあるので周辺が静かかつ空気も綺麗でとても過ごしやすいです。地元の人たちの生の暮らしと触れあうことができます。 ホテルにはレストラン、ホテルの前には商店があり、ホテルから少し歩けば商店街もあるので買いものと食事には困りません。 リング通りまで出ればBhat-Bhateni Supermarketという大型スーパーもあります。 また、ホテルのすぐ近くにはタメル地区まで20Rsで出られるバスも運行されているので中心部まで安く簡単に出かけることができます。 オーナーのYagyaさんはとても親切な方で、色々とお世話してくれました。 過去に訪れたタメル地区のホテルよりもこちらのホテルのが方が気に入りました。

the place was more than 12km from airport with terrible approach after crossing the whole city.It was really hard to find even by local cab driver hired from airport prepaid cab. Built on a residential plot in a residential colony the building houses two rooms on each of 3 floors. One cook and one maid is the total staff. A tiny unkempt lawn is shown as garden in the pics. They provide a shaky old Maruti Eco cab at exorbitant high prices because you don't have any other option to go to the city. We were charged 300 Nepali rupees for 4 small slices of white bread and 400 nepali rupees for one plate of veg pakoda. Expedia....I am sorry ,it's a blot on your brand ,that without even seeing how can your team can select such a property?

Very nice quiet area close to Kathmandu center with beautiful view of the nearby mountains. Very clean comfortable rooms and outdoor seating area and delicious food! Staff was kind and friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

Well kept with very friendly staff. About 25 minutes out from the airport but in a more quiet and peaceful setting. Upon arrival I was told that they are unable to receive the payment from Expedia - that was the only hiccup.
