We had an amazing stay at Hotel Täscherhof where we received an unexpected upgrade to a deluxe suite which included breakfast. The staff were friendly especially Maria who made us feel very welcome and also looked after us in the restaurant which we also recommend.
The view from our room. The room was spacious and warm.
The fondue was delightful and the schnitzel was tasty. The house beer is good as well.

Unbeatable location

Location, location, location! The location of this hotel is unbeatable. Seriously it’s just right in front of the train station. You can wear your ski boots with your ski gears walk out from the hotel’s ski room directly to catch the train in 2 mins. It’s just like a ski-in/ski-out hotel to Zermatt. The free breakfast was good while dinner lack of choices. Overall, it’s an excellent hotel if you want to ski in Zermatt, but don’t want to stay in Zermatt town (No car allowed).

Very convenient location to train station. Our room had a beautiful view from the bed. Nothing like waking up to seeing the Swiss alps. The restaurant was actually quite good. Prices were reasonable for a tourist area. Staff were super friendly and helpful! Loved our stay!
