The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the main attractions. The hotel is modern, cozy, and the breakfast is served with an incredible view of the Acropolis, making for a wonderful start to the day. The only area that could use a bit more attention is room assignment. I had booked a room with two separate beds but was given a room with one double bed instead. Since we arrived around 1:00 a.m., all we wanted was to check in and get some sleep, so we decided not to address it at the time. It would be great if the hotel could pay closer attention to these details in the future. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The Electra hotel in Athens is an amazingly beautiful and relaxing place to spend your time while visiting the nearby Plaka area and climb the Acropolis. The employees are super friendly and they will go above and beyond to satisfy travelers. Especially Jasmine is a tireless, friendly and knowledgeable woman who will provide you with the best service, food and information for the area. I am very impressed with their management as well for doing an exceptional job in training and guiding the employees. It’s a FIVE star hotel and I will definitely come back in the very near future.
