Great base for a city weekend
Lancaster Lodge is ideal for a city centre base with parking. Everything is within walking distance and the hotel is reasonably quiet at night. The breakfast is good. The rooms are showing signs of needing some maintenance and sprucing up but it is clean and well run. Rooms near to the lift are noisy.

Great help from the front desk.
Great visit wished we had more time the front desk staff were extremely warm and inviting. He made a map to help us find places to eat and recommended a few places. One of his recommendations we were fortunate enough to get into and it was delicious.

We enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and hard working. Great breakfast and great bars not to far a walk (around 5 minutes). Hotel is in a good location too.

Realy lovely, big room! Very clean and comfortable. Room was very warm and couldn't get the air-con to work, but the windows opened. but this was reported to reception who asked someone to take a look. Really nice breakfast.
