Breakfast choices were very good. Clean facility and accommodating Staff. Lovely garden and patio. Although well maintained, the room decor seemed a bit dated. Would have really appreciated a smart TV in the room. Limited to only CNN or Fox News for English language television.

My stay at Maria Cristina was quite pleasant. Staff is very kind and attentive. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The WiFi was a bit unstable at times, so something I'd suggest to keep an eye out on. Otherwise I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future. 🙂

Beautiful building in a nice and safe part of town. The building itself is getting a bit old so some lights and shower faucets needs some repairing, but they are fully functional. Service is exceptional. Food is expensive in the restaurant. But it is an expensive hotel, for me at least. Prices you would expect for a Courtyard by Hilton in the US. As are the conveniences. Overall nice experience.

This is a charming old hotel with lots of atmosphere where the staff go out of their way to be as helpful and courteous as possible. I stayed for a total of six nights and was pampered the whole time. I especially liked having a beer in the garden after a long day. of adventures in the city. The garden is so quiet and peaceful it makes you forget you are in the city

This is a great old hotel with friendly staff. It's starting to look a little dreary and needs artwork or color added to walls in the lobby and restaurant to cheer it up. It's very clean and has a grassy, outdoor patio area.

I tried to check in but their terminal wasn't working so I couldnt be charged and had to wait for hours. Then I paid with cash in order to get into the room, i was assured that the next morning I'd get my cash reimburse and I would pay with my work card, but to my surprise, the next morning they told me they couldn't pay me back and didnt even gave me some change that was pending. It was a total dissapointment and the room was very noisy. I like the style and the area but unfortunately I won't ever go back to the place

I recently stayed at Hotel Maria Cristina in downtown Mexico City. While it may not be the most luxurious hotel, it certainly has its perks. The location is fantastic and very walkable, with easy access to other parts of the city. The hotel is also relatively cheap, which is great for budget travelers. Although the amenities are limited, the rooms are clean and almost comfortable, making for a decent stay overall. If you're looking for a no-frills, centrally located hotel, Hotel Maria Cristina might just fit the bill.

Seriously needs some updating, They use the old chit system for breakfast and room charges. It was adorable and very 1970's. And a retro experience. Still, even the curtains had stains. But, the court rooms are quiet, which is very desirable in CDMX. The breakfast was good, and the staff charming.
