They offer excellent service to and from the airport, provided arrangements are made in advance. The rooms vary in size but all are comfortable. The restaurant offers (usually) a buffet breakfast; when it doesn't, one can order from the menu.

Hotel San Carlos was quiet, quaint, and cozy. The design and architecture made me feel as though I were staying in a small historical museum, with elegant, thoughtfully curated décor throughout. My room was spotless—I could actually smell fresh detergent on the bedding, which was a nice touch. The food was very good, especially the chicken parmesan. The staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Although the hotel is only a short distance from the airport in terms of miles, traffic can make the commute surprisingly long. My ride from the airport took about 40 minutes to travel just two miles around 5:00 p.m., so timing is something to keep in mind. However, once settled in, I had no trouble safely using Uber to get to various sites and excursions.
