Great location, descent rooms. Rooms can use an upgrade. A coffee maker and small fridge in the rooms would go a long way specially during times the independent restaurant located within the property is not open. Staff was very responsive and friendly. Would stay here again.

The staff is friendly, and the overall ambiance is very charming. However, my only complaint is the restaurant located in the courtyard below the rooms. They start playing music at 8 AM, which, although not excessively loud, was enough to wake us up earlier than planned. If you’re a light sleeper or value sleeping in, this might be something to consider. Otherwise, it’s a lovely place to stay!

Felt secluded but in the middle of everything. Can easily walk to el Centro with beautiful views during the walk.

Terrible service, we asked multiple times from multiple people to fix the toilet seat in the bathroom. The seat on there was too small and would slip off and stick under the toilet rim, often pinching us. No hot water for two days. No air conditioning, a fan that was broken but we had no choice but to use it. We had to ask for toilet paper and towels as they were never replaced. Rooms were shabby, lots of lamps that didn’t work. Promised a balcony which you had Go up a three flight riccaty staircase to get two and it wasn’t even big enough for two people to stand on. Good luck trying to wrangle your bags up the steep rocky, narrow property stairs.

We loved our stay at Casa Liza… the staff are very nice and the hotel is quaint and very beautiful…. not perfect by any stretch, but quite lovely.

Hotel was very clean, staff was great. The rooms where old but very spacious, bed could’ve been better. The hotel is very well located, just a few mins walk from everything. The restaurant that shares the building is amazing and the waiters are also very professional and very helpful guys.

Great room - felt like in high end hotel with such a view off the balcony. Great to drink my Starbucks and eat my cake from bakery down the road while watching the sunset. Property provided 2 free water bottles everyday. Great checking experience - front desk responsive. Great shower with lots of hot water. Would recommend!!

Check in was easy though they are strict about no check in before 3pm. The room was large, airy, and clean, with a pleasant old Mexican style. Because it was my birthday, they had flower petals strewn about in the bath room, and also sent up a bottle of wine. Classy service, and the hotel was located in one of the most beautiful parts of San Miguel, very quiet.

The staff (Natalie) was very sweet and professional. We were welcomed on arrival. Our room was cool even though there was no air conditioning. The area felt safe. Although there was tree work going on outside our door. Fallen debris and chain saws going for 2 days. I would recommend staying here now that the work is completed but I felt we should have been moved out of the work zone upon arrival or prior. Several rooms back up to the casa cien venue so it can be noisy if there is an event. The event was ours so we didn’t mind. All in all a very reasonable and clean place to stay!

Our roomnwas confortable and nicely decorated. 1) needs fresh air venting. Windows have no screens or security to leave open. 2) needs coffee in room. Its an inexpensive option to offer. 3) could have used larger portions of gel and shampoo.

No AC during unusually hot season. Extra fans helped. Windows did not close properly in sitting area. Recommend a curtain to separate sitting area from bedroom area. Room door is not secure. Can easily bypass lock with a screwdriver or pocket knife.
