Wonderful hotel

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my 2nd visit to the Scotsman Hotel. This time my wife was booked for 3 nights with her elderly mother. The room was spacious, very quiet and the view onto Princes Street was breathtaking. Breakfast was first rate - a fantastic selection of breads, fruit salads, cold meats, cheeses, cereal and of course the full cooked breakfast! Can I say it is the little things that make this hotel stand out - all staff are exceptionally friendly. No visit would be complete without a meal in the Grand Cafe. What a room - steeped in history. A big shout out to both Stephen and Charlie, our front of house concierge service. They were always there to advise on travel, things to do and generally look after us both. I cannot express how lovely it waas to come back in from the cold and sit at the open fire, have a cuppa or hot chocolate and chat to these gentlemen. Thank you again - cant wait to "haste" back for another adventure. Maybe the penthouse next time!!
