Fantastic place in a stunning area
Wow what a beautiful place. Fabulous room, huge comftable bed with modern bathroom and very refreshing power shower. The room was well stocked with lively teas, coffees and biscuits, no scrimping ! Following morning we had a really beautiful breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room from a lovely friendly team. It was all topped off with a fall overnight of snow, so we woke up to a stunning winter wonderland. Cant recommend highly enough we will definitely be back and definitely to the Staverley Inn where we had a beautiful meal. Great weekend thank you

Fantastic little find and will definitely stay again. I would highly recommend this little gem of a place with such friendly staff. The wee lodges were epic. My only criticism was not knowing the wee pub across the road, the Stavely Arms isnrun by the same team, as we would have dinner there had we known. The breakfast was epic, and the bed was super comfy. Well worth the money we spent both on the accomodation and in the bar.

Fantastic B&B- highly recommend!
I couldnt recommend the Old Coach House more! We had a fantastic stay. You could tell a lot of thought and care went into the B&B and so many nice touches were added. Fresh milk and a wide selection of teas and coffee in the room. Everywhere was clean and decor was thoughtful. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly and warm. Breakfast was prompt and delicious! If you get the chance- stay here!

Outstanding Country Break
The Old Coach House is a true little gem of a B&B. The location is ideal for many trips around yorkshire. The rooms are clean, well decorated and furnished with everything you'd need. Staff are beyond helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. Breakfast is a true highlight, with a wide range of cooked and continental options! Very highly recommended.

Wonderful weekend getaway
The Old Coach House was everything and more than what we expected. The room was very comfortable with all amenities covered. The breakfast covered everything from fruit and yoghurt to a full English and the service was impeccable. It is situated close to Ripon where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and we highly recommend.

“Proper job”!
This is the best B&B we have stayed in and we can thoroughly recommend it. We visited the area for a family funeral but hope to return for a short break another time. Neil is a caring and skilled host who pays great attention to small details in an effort to ensure guests have a good home from home. Warm and very comfortable room plus an Excellent breakfast with local products. As we say in the West Country “proper job”!

First Class
Very nice establishment in an absolutely charming village close to Ripon. The Manager Niel went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. Breakfast was awesome. One slight downside is the village pub is temporarily closed. But due to reopen in October.

Always a warm welcome
My second stay at The Old Coach House and it is always a real joy. A friendly welcome, attentive staff and a comfy room awaits you every time. The level of service far exceeds many of the large country hotels I have stayed at. Rooms are warm (it being winter), comfortable and crammed with amenities. Breakfast is a highlight, available from 7am for those of us with an early start and with a full choice of cooked or continental buffet. Outstanding!

The Old Coach House is absolutely excellent. Our room was spacious, had everything we could want and all of a very high quality. It was warm, comfy and looked great too, with huge original wooden beams, large luxurious armchairs and tasteful decor. The breakfasts were super too; lots of choice and tasty fresh fruit like berries or pineapple and choice of juices. Home made granola pots featured if you wanted a luxury treat. Cooked choices were tasty and very nicely served. Tea and coffee and toast in plentiful supply. Very convenient for Ripon but lots of countryside all around with local walks. Maps and walking routes to borrow in the reception which was where you could top up hot drinks and other snacks. A very lovely place to stay and I heartily recommend it to help make your travels or break a big success.
