Always enjoy a stay at Motel-One, clean, comfortable and cosy. Central in Newcastle which is good as I now live away and when I come up to go out with the boys I don’t have to worry about getting taxis here and there.

Small room, can't remember last time I stayed in a room with no art on the wall, it looked like wood chip paper, TV controller didn't work properly, the TV had a USB slot so I thought great I can listen to music, only one track at a time, I then had to switch tv off and on and go through the menu to get next track. I think this is my 10th stay at Motel One, and not my last. For me, mostly travelling alone it is perfect, a good bed, clean bathroom, and a very good breakfast. Love the turquoise heartshaped sweets and the dog in reception. Motel One is situated ringht in the heart of the city center, only a few minutes from everything, etc train station, metro, Theatre Royal, galleries, shopping, restaurants, bar and pubs. Highly recommanded place to stay
