Historic building with beautiful furnishings, updated bathroom fixtures. Rooms are more like individual bedrooms with ample common areas, bed and breakfast feel. Will definitely return in the future!

This old home was very charming. We enjoyed the wrap around balcony and the BOOKS! The owners have done a great job restoring it. We enjoyed all the pictures. Carabelle was a lovely little town to explore old Florida. Hope it never gets invaded by developers.
It was like being in a creepy movie which was perfect for me. Check in instructions were in the mail box outside the front door. Not a single person was in sight during my entire stay. That was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The old hotel was cute and the owners had obviously spent a lot of time making it nice. My stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I would book the hotel again.

It was unique, a little too cluttered for my liking, which makes it seem not as clean. The bed was comfortable. It was self check in, so we never saw anyone, which wasn’t all bad. The process was easy.

Booked here through Expedia a week in advance and received my confirmation. Very excited, we did tons of research on the property. I decided to call the hotel the day before our arrival only to find out Expedia overbooked. We had no room. This did not ruin our stay but definitely disappointing. We had to stay in a dump to say the least. We made the best of it. The owners really didn’t seem concerned that this happened. They seemed like it had happened before. Gave me a bad taste for this place. I hope they remember vacations are special and we chose their place. Kindness would have went a long way.

Quaint facility nice and private. One thing was unusual is I was contacted by staff person Skip asking if I knew how Venetian blind was unable to be opened. We never tried to open it during our stay. I was asked if a child was jumping on the bed near blind. There were 3 adults in our party and my 90 year old mother in law slept on that bed.
Otherwise we enjoyed Carrabelle and our stay.
