We were there for a family hunting trip and stayed here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The front desk person was very accomodating and our stay was very pleasant.

Low cost, bare minimum amenities

Female clerk very friendly but no remote in room. Had to go get from office. Bare minimum thin towels and 5 boxed microwaves in room. Given coffee but then no coffee maker in room. Owner or manager yelled at me for using short planter pot with grey dirt as ashtray. Not a pleasant man at all. Had to use parking lot as many others for cig disposal. Unkemp grass and overall dirty appearance of grounds. Will not stay here again.

I was in town to do a Book Fair at the Cuero Municipal Library. My husband booked this location at my request. This met my needs perfectly. Also, I enjoyed the Texas Shaped Waffles, which is always a plus.

Very Comfy! Excellent level of cleanliness for the price! Having said that there were a few cosmetic things wrong but nothing that made it less comfortable. The management and cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating! The continental breakfast was bare bones but it was provided. The value for the price was excellent!

I booked a room to relax and be able to watch Sunday football and a key Playoff Baseball game. Unfortunately the TV is only Direct TV cable and although there were a good selection of channels. I was unable to watch any football or the baseball game. Extremely disappointing!!

The Texan is a nice affordable place to stay. Decor is nice, but it has been a bit since the last update. Always pretty clean place, but they could use a bit of dusting in some areas. Super friendly staff up front and they are now much more efficient at checking in. I continue to stay here as it is very affordable and clean. Only thing I would really advise improvement on in is their breakfast. Super lacking.
