Lovely, comfortable hotel, in a beautiful location with friendly and helpful staff. The only downsides were the noise from a wedding party until 12.00 am on one night and the restaurant wasn't quite as good as we would have liked: dinner was tasty rather than delicious and the breakfast pancakes were a definite let-down.

Amazing location. Friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Easy access to the village and new forest. Also near Ringwood, Christchurch and several other great places to visit like Lymington, Milford on Sea etc. parking and access ideal. Facilities all perfect. Will definitely be staying again. Also recommend the drift which is part of the same hotel collection which we enjoy as it's right in the beautiful new forest. A highlight was seeing the pigs and deer up close #AMAZING

My friend and I had an absolutely lovely overnight stay here. I was a little apprehensive having read some previous reviews but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff are really lovely and friendly. The setting is beautiful and our room was great! We will definitely come back!

We could see deer running across the grounds from our bedroom window - absolutely gorgeous. We did not eat in the hotel for dinner or breakfast based on previous reviews on trip advisor.

Restaurant portions very small, Breakfast service really bad, waited for table was not informed when ready had to sit ourselves down, had to seek out staff to ask for cofee and menu.
