Wonderful stay. Close to main part of town, good have walked but drove instead and always found parking easily. Room was spacious and comfortable and honestly had everything we needed. Knocked a star off as the floor seemed quite dirty.

Fun family getaway
We had a delightful stay at the Boxwood. Our room actually had a living area with large wrap around couch and a small table with 4 chairs in addition to a separate bedding with 2Q beds. Harden was very helpful at the front desk. We walked to our restaurants and through town.

Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Exterior could use some general upkeep, carpets in rooms need replacing, and curtains updating. Annoying noise from plumbing. Within walking distance of town.

Boxwood Lodge at Blowing Rock
The hotel was older but had more personality than the new modern hotels. The property was well maintained and beautifully landscaped. We were even welcomed by a deer passing by. The room was perfect for two people, had everything you would need for a night. The bed was comfortable. We had a very restful night.
