We LOVED our stay! We came to Detroit Lakes for a little family weekend trip and could not have picked a better lodging option. The rooms were clean and the property very well taken care of. The service was top notch. The nightly smores bar, continental breakfast, and little touches here are there were just enough to make it feel like an above and beyond stay!

The property was very pretty. We had a handicap room that was very accessible other than the fact that it was the furthest away from the entry of the hotel. I didn’t like that they don’t come in and give you clean towels every day and empty the garbage. It states that we are to leave the garbage outside the door door before 11 o’clock and they But they never did. The entryway staff were not very friendly so initially I was very let down. But overall, the experience was very nice very pleasant. The breakfast was very good thank you.

Great place with unique pine log furniture. Lakefront balcony rooms perfect for viewing sunsets and lake. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and the usual waffle maker and eggs. Super friendly staff and actual clean and working spa pool. A little weedy in the small swimming area, but typical of lakes in the area.
