The bathroom is gross, the bathtub is impossible to use. We switched rooms once because the air conditioner was broken, and in the second room, the bathtub was clogged. Everything is very old, and despite advertising a pool, there isn't one. I simply wasn't more upset because I only stayed for one night.

This property is a dump. Only good thing about it is the location across the beach. The condition of the rooms is absolutely terrible. Way overdue for renovation.

Good amount of room. Run down and dirty
The reason we booked this hotel was the beds and the beach view. So for those points it was good. It was run down and and on the nasty side. We were so tired coming in from the states that it didn’t matter at that point but I wouldn’t book it again.

Great location. That ends pros. Old, beaten property, not clean enough, with amenities requiring repairs.

They offer features they don"t have, the room was not properly furniture
hard and old beds,we ask for two room and they gave us something that
they call it apartment with 5 small bed that we don"t needed, the shower
was a complete disaster every time we used it flood.
The chair in the waiting area are nasty smelling and dirty. For sure Copacabana has a lot of better option. The picture on the website don"t correspond with the reality.

Overnight stay in Copacabana
We stayed for a night. Location was perfect. Had a room with the view of the beach. There were a lot of restaurants nearby. Close to the main highway which makes it easy to go to the airport. The hotel was a bit worn down but our room was big. If you don't mind paint peeling off your walls, it is actually an OK hotel. Service was good and fast.

What a view!
The location is fantastic, the view from the balcony is amazing no matter what the weather, the staff are terrific and price reasonable too.
There's a 'but' though. The place really could do with a bit of redecoration.

Good location, Great staff, older building.
Staff was very helpful. Alec was especially helpful. Older building, everything worked well except hot water. Staff helped us get tours, find restaurants, get taxis, exchange money, just always helpful. Rooms available that look out onto beach/ocean.

A nice but rather unmaintained hotel. The location is excellent, just at the Copacapana Beach. The room we stayed was very large with a wonderful view of the ocean. The bathroom, air conditioner and room furniture need to be renewed. All in all, however, we were pleased that we have stayed in this hotel.

The balcony and view are amazing. My room was much bigger than expected, it actually was more like two rooms. It is a little bit old and run down but I'm sure if it was renovated it would be much more expensive. Great value, excellent breakfast and service.

Great location, but rooms subpar
Location is terrific, across the street from beach and cafes, safe area. Breakfast is also very good and varied. However, it is an old hotel and rooms, particularly the bathrooms tend to be poor. Bathroom faucets could not close and we needed to be moved the 2nd night bc we couldn't shut the water. Also, the showerhead was at least 40 years old, poor water output. There were no hairdryers and nothing to iron clothes. We asked for a hairdryer and were told it was in use...had to wait for the next day! One hairdryer in an entire hotel? The balcony didn't even have a chair to sit and see the beautiful beach. Still, I would recommend for the location and breakfast.
