It's busy
I didn't love it but it's not necessarily the fault of GWL. I was doing something in the area so my wife and I stayed strictly for the hotel room itself. There's just a LOT of people there at any one time. A LOT of activity. A LOT of noise. But that's what that place is for. If you're there with a family, it's almost certainly great. Check out is a lot faster and easier than check-in. And to charge $15 a day to park in what is essentially a giant lot is just a money-grab. What I can say on a positive note is that the rooms were a good size, they were clean, and we had a couple drinks at the bar and they were quite good.

We had a great time. Both sides of the park offered lots to do for my family of 4. The hotel room was not as clean as expected. Soap suds crusted into the hook in the bathroom, stained carpets and the tables had paint and sparkles all over them, I suppose for a family resort this may be expected by some. The park seemed sufficiently clean, we noticed a lot of hair ties and various trash that people had clearly thrown over the steps. Very sad to see, but probably difficult to clean.

We really had a wonderful time here. The resort has lots to offer and we'd definitely visit again! I did however think that a lot of the staff was unfriendly and had no interest in helping or answering traveler questions. We just figured it out on our own, or by asking other travelers. It was really evident while trying to order food at the waterparks, but it was still fine. Our shower wasn't clean in the corners of the tub, but everything else seemed great.
