Great spot on the island and very good service checking in and out. Excellent fresh breakfast and beautiful grounds. Only reason I rated less than perfect on comfort is old pillows (very soft) and a little bit noisy. The wood frame building transmitted noise even though we stayed on top floor.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is located a little down from the busy area of town. Shepler’s ferry was very easy to take and go to Mackinac Island. Hotel picked up our luggage from ferry and was in the room when we arrived. Hotel was recently remodeled and was very beautiful. Loved sitting on the front porch watching people and carriages go by. Breakfast was very good and staff very accommodating.

The tv didn’t work, the windows didn’t have screens in them, the dresser was broken, the toilet was broken. We spoke to the front desk about these issues and for the price you’d think these things would be working or they would provide a compensation for the inconveniences.
