We spent one night on our way down the coast, and wanted a 'change of pace' after spending a week in Savannah and Charleston, so chose this off the tourist route B&B because it was ranch/plantation style. The owners greeted us and made us feel right at home, but didn't invade our privacy. We were the only guests that night - we had the ranch to ourselves for most of the evening, as the owners went into town. We were given wine and beer, and a tasty cheese platter with olives and dips (dinner not provided - we went in to Jekyll Island for an early dinner then came back for the cheese platter later). We ate sitting outside on the screened in back porch for three hours enjoying the evening by the pool. Breakfast was provided (large portions) and was very tasty. I would highly recommend this place for a wedding or a small group get-away, or if you just want to get away from it all and don't want to stay in a regular hotel but have high quality rooms.
