This is a lovely hotel a few blocks from the train station. It is clean, room was well appointed, we had a great view, bed was comfy and towels were generously cushy. Breakfast was a great array of light options… ( instant coffee capuccino was disappointing.) Staff was not welcoming… a tad gruff. I’d definitely recommend the Corona for a 2-3 day stay in Domodosdola.

A good hotel but could be better. Like many “old family owned “ hotels in Italy there’s a sense of supremacy from them. They seem to forget where their money comes from? The ladies in the breakfast room were great though.

Hotel Corona is in a perfect location. Maybe a 5 minute walk to the train station. Very close to several restaurants and hiking trails. The pool area is fabulous. There are chairs in the sun and shade and the pool was immaculate.
The a/c struggled to keep up but, Italy is experiencing a heat wave as well as the rest of Europe.

Overpriced with poor location
Hotel located in construction zone where city is replacing water & sewer pipes. Room was dreary - needs pictures on the walls. View was good, breakfast excellent. Front desk service attitude was stiff and not friendly. Not a good value for the money.

The family running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with good air conditioning and sound proofing from the main street below. Perhaps some tea making facility would be beneficial. The swimming pool and poolside facilities are very good and the evening meal excellent. It is a very good centre for exploring the town and nearby countryside.

Best place in Domodossola
Lovely family-owned and -run hotel in the center of Domodossola. Very clean rooms, great beds, a nice restaurant and good breakfast, and in summer you even get a small pool and sundeck in den back garden. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel! Will be back
We had a lovely stay. Very friendly dinner waiters and excellent food too. Shame the hotel doesn’t have a car park, otherwise it would be a 10/10. Very quiet rooms, excellent breakfast and in a very convenient spot for hitting the slopes as well as for breathing in some of the Domodossola Christmas air. Thank you!

We enjoyed the swimming pool after a days sightseeing. Lovely to cool off from the heat with our books at the quiet poolside. Visits to the the Lago d'Altrona, and further afield Lago Maggiore (Isola Bella, Isola Pescatore and Isola Madre) were memorable. The two meals that we had at the hotel were delightful, in the same poolside setting mentioned above. Evidentally the local townsfolk as well as the hotel guests enjoy the excellent cuisine - it was very busy. Swordfish - Pesce de Spada and Barolo - delicious! Breakfast was limited, but then we were very late down. Staff very friendly!
hotel is just ok. the staff is really unfriendly... i never felt comfortable.

The staff wasn't the friendliest we experienced during our visit to Italy but it could also be because we didn't speak much Italian. This is a nice hotel, very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay here.
