Poor experience
For an expensive trip there wasn't any smart tvs, the wifi would not work and there were only 5 channels available. The tvs would not turn on. Highly disappointed by this and I will not come back to this hotel.

My experience with Ivy Hotel was very disappointing. I planned for weeks to spend a night celebrating my partner’s birthday but the staff was poor on customer service. The receptionist Shawn the moment I walked in

I remember the Ivy being a top tier hotel back in 2013. It’s still a decent hotel however The maintainence of the hotel has declined. The main concierge guy isn’t the most pleasant either I forgot his name. Due to the corona virus When you request simple things everything is a no or what he can’t do his favorite word is “unfortunately” why is the hotel open if you can’t do anything? He also speaks in a very condescending manner to patrons I was perplexed. Honestly he should not be in customer service treating patrons that way. Show patrons a bit more compassion. The manager and female concierge seemed to be more accommodating . I honestly didn’t enjoy my stay this time around. The Water in the in the room seemed like it was running out and running cold everytime I wanted to take a shower. Ughh

Nice hotel but no accommodations...they don’t even have room service...if you want something to drink or eat you have to go the 7/11

All that, aesthetically; but, NO bag of chips..
Sooooo....Aesthetically, the king suite was beautiful.. I had read a couple of other reviews, before booking, that mentioned the hot water taking forever to get hot; but, i just “KNEW” that that wouldn’t be an issue for us.. Guess what, it was.. Also, not only could we not stream Netflix, but there weren’t even any premium channels available.. Huh..?? Additionally, there are no microwaves in the rooms.. Actually, that’s not our first encounter w/lack of microwaves; and, I am perplexed by this lack in many of the pricier hotels.. Overall, though, due to my company, we had a great stay, in a beautiful suite..
