Great stay with a few hiccups.
Overall a great hotel with a convenient location for a short stay. Right by Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Team was great. A bummer that Hotels.com listing mentions free parking when the hotel doesn't have any and parking was a challenge for our local friend who was showing us around. Also the taxi they arranged for us pulled a normal scam on us. We knew better but took the risk and the taxi driver refused to accept our card payment. So just don't be dumb like us and your will be fine. Bed was super comfortable, free breakfast was delicious, hotel was clean. A bit noisy since it's right in the heart of a tourist area with lots of restaurants.

Amazing stay at Senatus Hotel in central Istanbul. Hassan at check in was very informative and helpful with any questions, tours, taxis, excursions etc. very close to mosques and some local mini supermarkets around if you need any items. For cheaper local supermarket with more options, Greens (an amazing supermarket is only a 10/15mins walk away) Senatus staff very kind and friendly. Felt very safe here as a solo traveler. They helped me to book a taxi to the bus terminal on my day of departure and spoke with the taxi driver to make sure I would get ripped off! Would stay again!

The team at Senatus were so helpful. Hassan arranged our cabs from the airport and some fantastic trips. So helpful and greatly appreciated. There is a restaurant under the hotel - the Albura Kathisma - which was great as well. Great food and really good value, and people were great all the time. Hotel is in a great place, very good for all the sites and the Old town and loads of places to visit and eat/drink. Good all round place to stay for the sights in Istanbul.
