Awesome spacious room and good service.
The room is very spacious, front desk staff speaks excellent English. Comfy jetted bathtub, mattress. Located in the city center, lots of good restaurants, shopping area Xinyi District. Convenience store, market, liquor shops, the metro all around the corner. It was quiet even though our room is facing the main road. Will definitely want to stay again.

Good location,vast room.parking entrance,but dirty
Rooms are wide and well equipped. However - these rooms are used as direct car access - so you walk through a car parking to get to your rooms at the "Tango house" brand.. The bathroom is big, and it is apparent that these rooms are mainly used on per-hour basis... so make of this what you will regarding furniture cleanliness... or stains..

Only when I have no choice
Weirdest room shape. Very dark, noisy and humid and I had mosquitos every night (5 nights). I really try to not to go there when I can but unfortunately proximity to my office and competitive prices make me stay there sometimes. Definitely not a first choice

Great stay
Hotel was fantastic. They has a big jacuzzi bath tub although we did not try it out due to busy schedules. Location of hotel is great as well. Breeze shopping mall was just 10mins walking distance away. You can find all sorts of branded items there. Rao he night mkt is also 10-15 mins walk away. 3mins walk frm yongchun mtr. Room was spacious n clean.
Overall experience: we will choose to stay there again if we visit taipei the next time

I’ll be back
Opted for the 20:00 check in, super easy. Pleasant staff. Apartment even has a fancy separate garage stall at your front door, yet never feels like a “motel”, very fancy. Bathroom is huge and has huge spa tub, a steam shower and great amenities . Buffet breakfast was actually good, had 8 or so different entrees all very tasty, especially the salmon. Bed comfortable with nice clean white linens. Location great, walked to Taipei 101 and city hall train station.

Room was unclean.
Room smelled like throw up
There was CHUNKS of throwup by the trashcan.
There was nastiness on the blinds.

Not for business travelers
First off I arrived at 2PM and my reservation said something about room availability by 3PM. However, some conflicting information on the reservation said something about room availability only by 8PM. The staff at the reception was extremely uncooperative when I asked what kind of hotel this is supposed to be and how this is even possible since this is certainly not standard hotel practice. The staff made me pay 600NT$ (20USD) per hour (!!!) to use the room, i.e. this additional charge came up to almost a full day's charge. The room itself was without windows, only the huge bathroom had windows which had to be blinded out since the opposite building was quite close. The desk was tiny which meant working on that thing was hardly possible and ended up in cramps all over the body. The breakfast was an abomination, only seeing it was enough for me to not try it.
In the same area there are a number of hotels that charge a lot less and are a lot better, first and last time for me to stay at The Tango.

Strangest Hotel I ever stayed at
There are two Tango hotels in the same property. One is a hotel and the other a motel (I had a car parking space outside my room, which was accessed through the garage!). It turns out the Motel is known locally as a "Love hotel", which I should have worked out when I was charged extra for booking in at lunchtime. It turns out my booking was valid from 8 pm. The Jacuzzi to fit 4 people was another give away. Add the low level mood lighting and brothel style heavy décor and you get the picture.

Review of Tango House
2nd time stay at this hotel, though this stay was not in the hotel but the'spa' suite. Overall was great except that some parts of the room were bit dusty. Had same issues as the previous stay with the breakfast services. The waiters are slow and do not seems to be able to cope when it is busy & the 'hot' food actually was only lightly warm.

RE: Surprises! Big! Great Location!
First impression when check-in - very artistic, warm welcoming! First thing when on the way up - cant find my room as there is another door hidden! First impression of the room - super big toilet which came with spa facilities and 3 TV sets in the room. only pro - the room is dark and if you draw the curtains, there is no scenery. Great Locations, near train station and all the key places. Excellent services!
