This place is beautiful and the staff is very nice! Imagine what a small town in the Austrian mountains looks like - this place is it! Beautiful scenery, clean rooms, and helpful staff. Not too far from Hallstatt. We would definitely stay here again!

Bei der kurzfristigen Suche nach zwei Zimmern in einem preiswerten Hotel in der NĂ€he von Hallstatt sind wir auf das Hotel Kerschbaumer gestoßen. Die Einrichtung wurde vermutlich unlĂ€ngst renoviert und die Zimmer haben uns sehr gefallen (siehe Fotos). Da haben wir bei drei Sternen schon ganz anderes erlebt. Das Personal war freundlich und bemĂŒht. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war gut, die Auswahl groß und auch eine halbe Stunde vor Schluß noch alles ausreichend vorhanden. Die Badezimmer mit Dusche waren schön und sauber, was will man mehr. Bei der Abreise wurden wir noch darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir bei zwei Übernachtungen auch eine gratis Fahrt mit der Seilbahn im Ort (Hornbahn) dabei hĂ€tten. Wurde genutzt und war auch sehenswert. Wir sind leider nicht dazu gekommen die Sauna auszuprobieren, vielleicht beim nĂ€chsten Mal.

A jewel in the Austrian countryside located in a small village about 15km from Hallstatt. The hotel is modern and clean and reasonably priced with a nice continental breakfast. The owners are friendly and went out of their way to assist us during our visit.
