I love Iberostar, in general, property and service is great. We were in Cancun last year and food was great! Punta Cana however have less varieties of food. Also, in Punta Cana, shuttle transfer from and to the airport is not included.

Beautiful property, good size room. Food was ok, same choice at morning. Dinner choice was good for me since I love fish and there was always 2-3 fish to choose from. Also I like soup, they always have two to choose from. Cafeteria without AC, only fans, wich could be a problem when weather is hot and humid. Mexican and French restaurants are average. Cafe by the bar in lobby serves good coffee and has AC. Some issues (how without them?) I was forced to upgrade my room $300 to be close to my parents. First I got room with brocken AC, they were trying to fix it 2 times then I insisted on changing room. In my new room, on the border our hotel and to another hotel building, AC works just OK but I was tried and did not want to waist more time. At morning I noticed horrible suver bathroom smell. I mentioned it to cleaning maid, seems she wasn't surprised and talked to my neighbor who confirmed the same and give me air freshment spray since she was leaving the same day. So every time I just sprayed the area. Stuff was helpful and friendly most of the time. We were using Google translate to communicate with staff since some did not speak English. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will have mostly good memories about our vacation.
