Pros:
- The staff at Casa Romana were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist.
- The Japanese restaurant on the first floor was a delightful surprise, offering great food.
- The location is ideal, being close to both the airport and the city center.
- A 5-minute walk will take you to Carullo supermarket, a fantastic spot for enjoying local food at reasonable prices.
Cons:
- If you're an early sleeper, the restaurant's nighttime music might be a problem.
- The street across the marina floods easily when it rains.
- Walking late at night doesn't feel safe.
- Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the shower.
- Room cleaning was neglected for three days.
- The faucet in the room was out of order, forcing us to brush our teeth in the shower.
- They require pictures of your passport and entry stamp before arrival.
- Considering the amenities, the price felt a bit steep.
Overall Thoughts:
Casa Romana has a lot going for it, especially its friendly staff and great food options. However, there are several areas that need improvement, such as room maintenance and safety concerns. While the location is convenient, the overall experience did not justify the price for me.
