Unfortunately not so good as, despite the lovely smell of the air freshners, the damp and musty smell overpowered it. Having a washing machine was great, however drying the clothes on the airer was a lengthy process as no heating when you are out and it took three days to dry. Furnishings are good and nice and clean. Street front bedroom was noisy, but got used to the sound of the metro. Good to have the metro right on the doorstop though with easy access to the whole city and walking distance to Sao Bento which is a great shopping area.
