Good location, unless walking is a problem(hilly). Near the famous attractions in the old city, lots of restaurants but a more expensive area obviously because of the tourists. You also get harassed quite a lot in the area by vendors desperate for you to spend some money.
Room was as described, good shower, decent bed and good pillows. Air conditioning worked well, tea and coffee facilities were a bonus. Stay didn't start well with lots of hairs on the bedding. However service and help were great. All issues were resolved, staff were friendly throughout and made you feel welcome and ultimately we enjoyed our stay. For a 3 star hotel we were satisfied.
Breakfast was plentiful and staff were happy to make omelettes for you. I would say however for a longer stay you could do with a little more variety as it soon became a bit repetitive. Lot's of cats everywhere and very popular in Istanbul so be wary if you don't like them although I do. Very good stay overall.
