We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and it has been renovated since then. Overall, we had a good stay and would stay here again. A few things to note: elevators are slow, lobby bar is closed Saturdays and Sundays (seems like those should be the days it's open if it can't be open every night) and the rooftop bar that used to be part of the property is not there anymore. We did have a great view of the Empire State Building and several subway stations very close by.

Liked our stay very much. The location was perfect, close to everything. The room was clean and we got fresh towels daily. Overall, it was "pricey", but considering there was a world cup just few weeks before and ...that it's NY at the end of the day, think we got good value for money.
