Location was fantastic. Breakfast also goo. It lost points once we opened our room door. Floors creaking like crazy, and 1st floor was like an oven. Our room just got hotter and hotter. Kept window open however it’s all pubs below and the noise went on until 3am. Bathroom was tiny. The shower was so small we couldn’t turn around or even bend over to wash (we’re not fat). Parking is also a challenge

Superb location, kind staff, big rooms, good cleaning. Nice breakfast and breakfast room (despite a little bit too small during peak moments). My room would have been better with a shower plastic or plexiglass barrier, an additional electricity socket and a better window curtain. Overall, I'm happy and I would surely come back

Good price with exceptional professional service!!
Having been travelling many times in Austria and Germany, I was used to cold face and unfriendly service; hence, hotel Mariahilf service really impressed me. First, the service staff at the reception was always smiling and quickly helped us check in also providing us information about local transportation and recommendations of food. Second, the housekeeping was really efficient and professional. Considering the amount of room per floor, they did it fast and clean. The room was exceptionally clean even though the building itself is old. We travelled in summer when there was a bit of heat wave and so they put a fan in the room already to air the room before we checked in. Last, the service staff at the breakfast was very friendly and professional. They kept watching if there are empty plates and so they took them away quickly to ensure the dining quality. The location of the hotel was pretty nice as it’s near the kunsthaus for those who come here for art exhibition I highly recommend this hotel. Fair price with exceptionally professional service.

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer, beide waren schwer überheizt (wie das gesamte Hotel). Die Zimmer waren geräuming, und hatten einen gewissen Retro-Charme (ebenso wie das gesamte Haus). Was nicht so gut war, waren die Nassräume, die sind schon renovierungsbedürftig - Fugen schmutzig, Seifenreste etc. - kein guter Eindruck. Positiv ist natürlich die Lage direkt neben dem Kunsthaus.
