The overall stay was great. The entrance on the ground floor had us a little iffy but once we got to our room it was very clean and spacious, kitchen was updated and nice. We utilized the washer and dryer in our room as well. We were surprised about the construction to the outside pool area of the hotel. The inside pool and lazy river were still available for use and we were able to access the neighboring bar and pool. Not having the outside pool was a small inconvenience however the kids really loved the stay. The hotel is on the South end so a short drive to attractions is a must.

Was a very nice hotel! One of the best, only 2 complaints, the first day our key card didn’t work could not get into the hotel as all doors except for the front office is locked. And the fridge in the room didn’t work well. Had to keep all perishable foods in the freezer part as the fridge part didn’t get cold, and the freezer didn’t freeze anything just kept things cold. The room had a separate bedroom from the living area, and the room door opened to a short hallway and not directly into a bedroom.

We had a lovely stay at Grand Atlantic. There was definitely some things we noticed that could be improved and touched up. The hotel common areas and room were clean and the staff that we met were friendly. We loved the little shop and Scooby's as well. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and how spacious the room was. That being said, there were lots of renovations happening along with the noises that come with that. The arcade was dated and some of the machines didn't work properly which bummed out our kids. The garage is a very tight area and seeing the overflow of trash in the main level was unsightly. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. The location was great as it was near multiple attractions, shops and restaurants. Once all of the renovations are complete we would definitely stay at Grand Atlantic again.

I was expecting the pool update to be complete, I don't know why. It was not, because of construction the beach access was closed. The hotel next door let us use their access, but getting there was still sketchy. The beds were so hard. What is it with hotels and hard mattresses? I had to sleep sitting up to prevent back and hip pain. Many of the outlets did not work, my son wasn't happy about searching for an outlet. I wish we had a broom and dustpan in the closet to daily sweep up the sand. But we had a great time at the beach.
