The staff is the best! Checkin was easy. Even if they don’t speak English, they use Google translate to confirm/reconfirm everything. Safe. Reception is always staffed. They left a bottle of water everyday in my room after housekeeping. Very well managed place. Airline cancelled my flight without notice at 3am and put me on a flight at 5pm. I went back to Hotel Juarez! The staff said “no problem” and just handed me the key back to my room that I had checked out of. I could get good sleep, freshen up and leave at normal checkout time. Very helpful and considerate staff.

I will stay somewhere else next time.
Rooms are super small. WiFi has really bad signal. If you call the front desk with any question, they are not very friendly. You are not allowed to bring any guess to your room even if it’s your brother or mom visiting so just FYI. I stayed at this hotel because the reviews but I will stay somewhere else next time.

8/10 Very good

Good room for the money, hard to locate entrance
The room and bathroom were very clean, had hot water, and the bed was softer than in other hotels at this price. It had the necessary amenities, but no coffee maker, refrigerator or other extra services. Daily cleaning service was excellent, The front entrance is located in an alley which doesn't give it a safe feeling when returning at night, but we did not have any issues. It's conveniently located near the zocalo and other tourist points, and restaurants

I would not stay again. I would not recommend unless you are young on a very tight budget. The entrance is in a pedestrian-only alley. The elevator was out of service. It has been that way for some time, and there is no plan to repair it. That's a deal breaker for me. Steep stairs, 7 or 8 stories. The mattresses are old, in need of replacement. The pillows are this wierd thin cheap foam material, 2 inches. There were some crawling bugs, maybe beetles or something. But staff were helpful, and the location is super.

8/10 Very good

The property was really close to el zocalo ,mexico city tourist areas, and close to alot of food options. I was able to locate it based on discription on reviews about sketchy alley, it did seem scary and unsafe. There was an uncovered hole in our room that made us wonder what it was, room waĺls thin we could hear everything, and it 100 pesos deposit for remote control to watch TV which wasnt mentioned on the expedia page. But we figured out you can just turn it on by hand. Bed was hard, shower water splatters everywhere , no ac. Overall good for us for one night stay, and during cold weather.
