Handy Location; Quality Hotel
Quality hotel in good location close to Ginza. Quality rooms and restaurants, although quite expensive. Needs a casual coffee/cafe area; lobby area was limited being the venue for two weddings while we were there.

Pleasant and Comfortable Hotel
I’ve stayed at Saiichi Annex twice and decided to try Daiichi Tokyo Hotel. My first impression checking in was not a good one because L. Ren who checked us in was not friendly at all and seem to have a sour face the whole time as we were checking in. Other than her, all the staff were amazingly pleasant, super helpful, always greeted us and everyone and overall very professional and courteous. The location is very convenient and tons of restaurants. I would have to agree with other reviewers that breakfast was not the greatest. The train station is just half a block from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Memorable family time with a year-end vacay!
Wonderfully appointed hotel, located at the vibrant Shimbashi neighborhood and 2 min walk from everything in Ginza! Everything was handled in a professional, delighting and assuring manner for our family including a memorable time for our 5-yr and 1-yr old boys. Getting to the hotel was a bit of an extension with strollers etc, since it’s a stop away from Shinagawa after alighting from N’EX. But after that everything was a breeze including luggage forwarding to our next destination. Our junior suite was very well appointed and it was a haven after each hectic day of sightseeing!

We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel for 3 nights. Service from hotel staff very good & customer-oriented. The room is of good size & in very good condition. Comfortable bed & very clean in everything. Though it is near to the railway, we didn’t find it noisy at night . Location is excellent which facilitated our travel to various places . We liked the full range of decent restaurants around as well .

classic hotel with some weaknesses
Conveniently close to Tokyo train station and Shimbashi metro station for getting around town. Chiyoda City / Emperial Palace and Ranza shoppi g area in walking distance. Service was top-notch, room small but well maintained and with view of Tokyo Tower; bathroom looked aged yet clean, with lots of shampoo, etc - even makeup remover, hair tonic and after shave. Interior decor in the hallways and lobby looks classic. We tried the Japanese breakfast, but were not impressed, (we now stay at a Ryokan near Fujisan with much better Japanese breakfast), and opted for the buffet in the neighboring "Annex" building for the following mornings which still wasn't great but at least had something to offer for either of us. All in all a good hotel.
