Hotel was first rate and the location was ideal for a visit to Purdue. The mix-up with parking, where Hotel offers validated parking, but was charged by the parking garage for the full day amount was terribly off-putting.

Excellent value. Courteous and helpful staff. Sadly, the strip mall in the area is dying a slow, horrible death, and the city maintained walkways and bridge are littered with potholes. This hotel is a West Lafayette anchor that is not as pretentious and more conveniently located than the overpriced property across the traffic circle.

Better communication is needed
The only issue we had was with the parking. It was validated, but when we left the parking lot, the validation did not work and we had to pay. When we later asked the front desk he said the right exit hasn't been working for weeks and we should use the left exit. Why didn't anybody tell us this when we checked in...irritating.

This hotel is one of our favorites. The front desk staff are always kind and so helpful, we especially liked Ryan on this visit! What a great guy! The rating for cleanliness is lower because our bathroom was not very clean, sink water would barely drain and the shower was pretty dirty with what we assume is mold. If bathrooms were updated a little this would get a 5 star rating for cleanliness!
