It was okay. The website definitely makes the rooms look nicer than it was. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel because we were off exploring. But it was expensive for what it was. Didn’t offer breakfast. And you had to turn in your own towels to get clean fresh towels. They also charge you extra if any towels come up missing.

Location is terrific!
We had an okay stay at the Maui Beach Hotel. The check in was a bit disappointing when we were told that we had to pay an extra $20 a day for amenities, that we weren’t expecting. We were also next to a busy road and listened to cars most of the night. Great location and appreciate the free shuttle to the airport.

The rooms on the backside of the hotel are right next to the road. The road noise was persistent throughout the night, including cars playing very loud music, doing peel outs and what sounded like racing! The quality and size of the room for the price was disappointing, based on the picture that we had seen online. The hotel is overall looking quite tired. A disappointing start to our trip.

The hotel isn't a prime beachfront location, but the outside has some fun games and lounge chairs and it's close to the airport which is great for an early morning departure. This is a tired property, especially in the cheapest room category and in the restaurant space. But staff were friendly and they are obviously trying to make an effort to make it an interesting location. If you are looking for premium caliber accommodation, stay away.
