Perfect for a short stay
The room was quite small, but totally fine for a two night stay. Everything is newly renovated, and the room was in perfect shape. Breakfast was fine considering it is only a 3 stars hotel. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel is perfectly situated for public transportation or am moderate walk to the city centre. I can highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a good bargain.

Nice stay at Campanile Lyon Centre - Gare Part Die
Had a nice stay at Campanile Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu with a comfortable bed but pleased I brought my own pillow - as the pillows offered were way too thick. The staff is friendly and welcoming but needed help to connect to their WI-FI, which didn't work very well. Please also be aware that it takes around 40 minutes to walk from the hotel to the City Centre. I don't mind walking so for me it was easy - but just in case you have walking issues.

clean and quiet room but a long walk to old town
Clean , quiet room , near the train station but a fair walk to the city and more to old town. Breakfast was excellent; bacon,eggs, fruit , and even fresh made hotcakes ! The room however was cold( mid-winter stay) . No matter how long I ran the heater the floor remained very cold , especially the bathroom.Also lighting in the room could be improved. All staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Service
I had to wait a very long time to place an order in the restaurant. The food options were very limited. The air conditioning was extremely noisy. During the winter, it needs to be set to the highest level to keep the room warm, but even that wasn’t sufficient in my opinion. Even at a moderate setting, it was still noisy. While the place appeared clean, the waiter brought water in a dirty pitcher at the restaurant. Overall, I think they are quite careless. The Best Part: conveniently located across from the Train Station
